Terms of sale

These Terms of Sale apply to every purchase in our store. They work together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

Who you are buying from

The Happy Fryer, a small business established in Spain: Plaza de los Fueros 4, 31780 Bera, Navarra, Spain — support@thehappyfryer.net.

What you are buying

A digital ebook, or a pack of ebooks and bonus guides, supplied as downloadable PDF files. The product page lists exactly which books and bonuses are included, and the file format. No physical product is shipped.

Before you order

Before you pay, the checkout shows you a summary of your order: each product, its price, any sales tax, the total amount and the currency. You can review and correct your order, and you can accept or cancel it, before you click to pay. After you order, we email you a confirmation with the details of your purchase, which serves as your copy of the agreement.

Prices and taxes

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The price shown is the full price of the product: there are no delivery charges, booking fees or other extra charges. The only amount that may be added is sales tax (GST/HST, and QST in Quebec) where we are required to collect it. If it applies, it is calculated from your billing address and shown separately on the checkout page before you pay. The total on the checkout page is the total you are charged.

Pack prices and "price if bought separately"

We want our prices to be honest and easy to understand:

Each complete book included in our packs is also sold on its own in our store, at the price shown on its product page.
The crossed-out figure shown on a pack is the total of those individual prices for the complete books in the pack. It shows what the same complete books would cost if you bought them separately in our store. It is not a "regular", "was" or "compare at" price.
Bonus books are not counted in that figure. They are included in the pack at no extra cost, and the pack price is not raised to cover them.
We never use invented deadlines. We only show a countdown when a real promotion with a real, fixed end date is running, and the price does return to the regular price when it ends.

Placing an order

You place an order by completing checkout. The contract is made, and your order is accepted, when we make your download links available and email them to you. If we can't accept an order, we'll tell you and refund any payment in full.

Please make sure your email address is correct: it's where we send your files.

Immediate access

Because our products are digital, you can download them immediately after payment. By completing checkout you ask us to give you immediate access to the files. This does not affect our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee (see our Refund Policy) or your rights under provincial law.

Optional offers after checkout

After you pay, we may show you an optional extra (for example, another guide) on the order confirmation page, with its price clearly displayed. You are only charged for an extra if you click to accept it. If you accept, it is charged once to the same payment method you have just used, added to your order and delivered by email. Declining or ignoring the offer costs nothing. Every extra is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

No subscriptions

All our products are one-time purchases. We do not sign you up for any subscription, membership, free trial or automatic renewal, and we will never charge you again without a new purchase that you make yourself.

Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout through Shopify's secure payment providers. We don't store your card details. Because we are based in Spain, some banks may add a fee for cross-border card payments even though you pay in Canadian dollars; any such fee is set by your bank, not by us.

Delivery

Delivery is by download and email, usually instant and within 15 minutes at the latest. See our Shipping Policy for details and for what to do if your email doesn't arrive.

Your rights under provincial law

Our digital content must match its description and work as it should. If it doesn't, we will replace it or refund you. The consumer protection laws of your province or territory (for example, the rules for internet and distance contracts in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta) may give you further rights, including a right to cancel if the required information or a copy of your agreement was not provided. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

Your use of what you buy

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-commercial licence for life. You may keep, print and re-download your files, but not resell or share them. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
